Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu, an American voice actor, producer as well as a talented actress. Being a smart and beautiful actress, she serves as a role model to several Asian actors who are in Hollywood that want to be successful. Following a string of appearances in popular TV series, she became famous after being cast in the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. Her new-found fame was translated into roles that were filmed on the large screen with Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels and several other films. She delivered a stunning performance in the role of Japanese O-Ren, a gangster from Japan (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. At the same time, she was also in lead roles in some films that failed at the box office, such as Rise: Blood Hunter. Then, she was a voice actress for animated films including Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's part in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen production, didn't yield positive results. Southland was a critically-acclaimed crime drama that established Liu as an actress of the future. Liu takes great care in choosing her roles to ensure she doesn't get typecast. She has taken on her Chinese heritage but hasn't let it restrict her creativity.
