Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. The actress grew up having big hopes. Her most memorable roles include the action spy film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol as well as the romantic drama Precious. Born into a middle-class family located in Los Angeles, she harboured many dreams in her early years. She was raised by her mother, who was a fan of films. Paula participated in co-curricular classes at her school, and was a drama enthusiast. Paula enjoyed acting with her friends as well as participating in school stage performances. She was a part of numerous performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as her career. Through a program for summer at the University of Southern California, she thoroughly enjoyed her time there. She won a three-month assignment making documentaries for PBS. Her first job was as a production assist for TV documentaries after successfully completing her task. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. She still had a dream to become an actress, even though she was satisfied at her position. The path to acting began when she had a minor role alongside Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. In the years since, she has played in many popular films and television shows.
