Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had numerous abilities, which included the ability to act, direct, produce, write plays teaching, as well as be the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of a Briton, and a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements as a kid. Anna relocated to Toronto in November of 1999, to pursue her acting talents. After that, she settled at Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she had met in a Los Angeles actors' workshop at the end of 2007, became her partner in 2009. Anna was converted to Judaism at the beginning of January 2011, and then they re-wed during a Jewish wedding ceremony in Fredericton. Bo's relationship with Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was noted in the list of CNN's all-time Favorite Television Couples and was named the top Television Couple in 2013, by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's popularity on the internet grew thanks to the popularity of the series.
